An expanding list of movies, series, videos, tutorials I think are worth a look. They sure did grab my attention!

Lonewolf 902. True, you can find a video on absolutely anything on Youtube. Among the many hot genres for content creators Camping, Stealth-Camping, and Bushcraft videos are definitely among them. I find the videos on Lonewolf 902 to be educational but relaxing too. As the "902" in the channel title would hint at, it designates the area code for Nova Scotia, Canada. The camping videos and camping product reviews featured are all in and around the province and surrounding areas. To put it frankly, the scenery in the videos are breathtakingly beautiful. The creator of the channel provides a very healthy mix of DIY, product demos in real conditions, and focus on survival skills while camping in the wild and other more controlled locales. I never feel like I am watching an extended informercial. You can find product reviews and instructional-type videos on this channel, but these are all clear in their title and description. I highly recommend you check out this channel!

Untouchable (2019). Believe it or not, this documentary actually came up during a search for Denzel Washington films. Directed by David Feige, this film delves rather deeply into the very murky waters of sexual offender legislation, victims, predators, and our current social attitudes concerning a subject no one likes to talk about. The case studies were what particularly grabbed me. I'll admit I was searching for a film a bit more on the entertaining side (sorry, Mr. Washington) but stuck with Untouchable and am glad I did. Definitely recommended if you want to learn more about this subject and the current legislation that exists both at the state and national levels. Available on Amazon Prime.

Derek DelGaudio's In & Of Itself (2020). Comprised of the many dates from DelGaudio's live theater performances at the Daryl Roth Theatre, 'In & Of Itself' represents a master class in interactive stage performance, live magic (or what DelGaudio refers to as 'slight of mind'), and very intimate story telling. Performance art is brought to the next level here. What blew me away in particular was not just the very real emotional reactions from the audience, but the equally real reactions from more recognizable faces in the audience. ***Spoiler alert: you will see some famous people in states of awe at DelGaudio's magic and stunning use of imagery as he asks the audience the question: Who are you? Available on Hulu. If you do not have a subscription nor intend on subscribing at all, this trailer is worth a look as well, and may just change your mind!

Sign Documents Digitally with Inkscape & GIMP by Logos By Nick. I always seem to be tinkering with a new project of some sort and trying to expand my skills. Nick's channel is an awesome resource for tutorials on all sorts of graphic design and related software platforms you can use to create art. As this video demonstrates you can also apply these skills for more practical applications as well. Saying there is a wealth of knowledge shared on Nick's channel is an understatement. Find out for yourself!

The Joe Rogan Experience #1639 - Dave Smith.  I have always had an affinity for political humor and commentary, plus I've been a fan of JRE for years now loving the variety of guests Joe features on his podcast. Dave Smith is not just a stand-up comedian but the host of his own podcast: Part Of The Problem and co-host of The Legion Of Skanks podcast. True to the long-format model Joe and Dave talk about many things happening right now including Vaccine Passports. You can catch a snippet from the podcast here!

Hacks. I'm a real sucker for dark, off-beat comedies. (When are you ever going to return, Barry?) I discovered this one while mistakenly looking for the latest edition of another HBO Max series. In Hacks, Deborah Vance (played by Jean Smart) is a legendary Las Vegas comedy diva looking to appeal to a younger audience. Vance's agent sends Ava (played by Hannah Einbinder), an entitled 25-year old, to help freshen up the material, and Vance begins mentoring her. In the premier HBO Max offered up the first two episodes and I could tell by the end of the first this would be right up my alley. You can catch the trailer IMDB here!
